Russian Tea Cakes
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2¼ cups flour
- ¾ cup chopped nuts
- additional powdered sugar
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Sift flour and salt. Add to butter mixture.
- Blend in vanilla and nuts.
- Form in 1 inch balls.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 14 minutes.
- While warm roll in powdered sugar.
