Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
 
Ingredients
  • 1¾ cups flour
  • 1 t. soda
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 c. butter
  • ¾ c. brown sugar
  • ¾ c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t. hot water
  • 2 c. old fashioned oats
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugars.
  2. Add eggs, water, and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. Combine 1½ cups flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to the butter mixture and mix well.
  4. Add oatmeal and combine. Add up to an extra ¼ cup of flour depending on your dough consistency.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.
  7. Makes 2 - 2/12 dozen cookies.
