Menu Plan and Goals

I’m eagerly waiting for a good night sleep to happen and at the same time trying not to anticipate its arrival coming soon. 🙂 I’m thankful that the past few weeks have been low-keyed so it’s okay that I’m walking around with minimal functioning brain cells. One of these days my daughter won’t wake up needing to be re-tucked in and I’ll get more than 3 hours asleep before the baby wakes up to eat.

One fun thing we finally accomplished this week was replacing all of the white knobs and pulls on the kitchen cabinets with oiled bronze ones. Hooray for small updates that make a big difference (especially ones that are easy to boot)!

  • Granola and Yogurt (me)
  • Pumpkin Pancakes from freezer (Toddler)
  • Green Smoothie popsicles (Toddler)

  • White Bean Chicken Chili
  • BLTs (I haven’t made bread for a long time so this will be tasty!)
  • Asian Salad (Yummy!)
  • Pizza (My husband was excited about the return of the weekly pizza night)

  • Fruit
  • Crunchy Almonds

  • Run 25 minutes 3 times (I jog slow, but hooray for getting this goal accomplished each week)
  • Order name badges for our concert series organization
  • Read 30 minutes 4 times (Umm, last week I don’t think I picked up any books other than the Bible and reading to my daughter)
  • Write 3 blog posts (Hopefully I can beat my one from last week)
  • Plan Warm Your Walls party

Here’s hoping to a few good nights sleep and knocking off all of my goals. What’s cooking in your house this week?

Nice of you to stop by CeliacFamily. My daughter woke me up last night, too — and she’s eight! Fortunately, that doesn’t happen very often anymore. And, she’s my baby, so I don’t have midnight feedings anymore. Hope you get to sleep through the night soon. 🙂 P.S. Love the dinner menu — all favorites of mine.

I suppose once kids are in the pictures we are never guaranteed a good night sleep! But they are so worth it. 🙂 So do I! I just hope that this little guy (almost 5 months) does it sooner than his sister did. At least I know it will happen eventually. Your menu looks fabulous too. Taco meat in the crockpot is a great idea – makes a quick and easy supper. We love Mexican around here.

A couple of my friends got the Warm Your Walls party, I think. I’m excited to see all the goodies 🙂 And a BLT sounds really tasty right about now…

Me too! It looks like a fun party and we have a couch that needs something on the walls above it and desperately need family pictures – our poor little guy has way less than his sister. Oh my goodness, I hadn’t had a BLT forever. We made them last night and it was yummy. Thanks for stopping by.

Hang in there! They do eventually sleep. Of course, if you’re like me, the older you get the harder it is to sleep through the night. 😉 I does get better though. Your menu sounds tasty! I love BLTs.

Ha ha. They get better and we get worse. 🙂 And I suppose once they are driving there are new things to stay awake for. BLTs are so yummy, I don’t know why we so rarely make them.
