Friday night we participated in Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-a for the first time. Even though she might not look it in the picture, our daughter had a blast. She loved dressing up and meeting the cow mascot. Before we left home she’d occasionally get down on all fours and start mooing.

Other than the cow excitement, our week was a low keyed one and this week is looking like more of the same. Even the Thursday night event is postponed until next week. That will give us all the more time to work on getting the house cleaned and organized. We made progress but have a ways to go. I suppose a 1 year old who doesn’t play but rather destroys doesn’t help any.

This girl loves to help. If I’m doing something she thinks she can too. She’s working hard grating cheese for the nacho cheese sauce to go with the chips.
I think it’s safe to say, we are all excited for the cooler temperatures coming the rest of this week. The highs are not even supposed to hit 80 a couple of days! It will be a great change from the upper 90s and 100s.

What are you eating this week? Is it cooling off where you are?
Linking up to Menu Plan Monday

We have a few of the same goals this week. I also need to clean my fridge, publish two more personal posts this week, and mop my floors too (I didn’t include moping the floors in my post but I need to do this too). Stopping by from the Money Saving Mom weekly goals link up.
Wow! Our goals really are similar! I’ve been working on tackling the kitchen. The counters are completely cleared off except for the items I actually want on them. It feels great. still haven’t gotten to the fridge or floors. There’s still time. . .
Your little cow is adorable. We haven’t gone to the free CFA day in a couple of years but it’s always fun when we do.
Thanks! She had an absolute ball. I think we’ll have to do it again next year. 🙂 I just wish there was a CFA a little closer. It made for a fun memory.
Your girl is ADORABLE and your custom for her is very clever. I like to read your goals, they are like mine – except you probably get yours done. lol. Thanks for all the great info on your site. Carrie, A Mother’s Shadow
Thanks! She’s a bundle of personality, that’s for sure. She was having a blast even though she didn’t want to look it for the camera. 🙂 Ha ha, not always. I try to get those goals done but it doesn’t always happen. Still need to do the floors, read, and exercise more. I better get on it!
I always miss “cow” day every time it comes around. I think my boys would have fun doing this! Your daughter looks cute!
It was so much fun! I really hope we get to do it again next year. Maybe then Spencer won’t tear off his spots and the rest of ours too. 🙂
