I’m hoping this is the week life sort-of gets back to normal and I can spend more time blogging and reading. We survived the Herb Festival and spent yesterday afternoon getting the Kitchen, Dining, and Living Rooms halfway put back together. Cleaning as been on the back burner lately and it’s showing. My dining room table is cleared off and we will actually be able to eat on it again. (Picture of what if had been looking like is here.) My hope is that by the end of the week we can have the house completely cleaned.
The Herb Festival was a fun day. A couple friends hung out all day and helped set up and tear down which made the entire process easier and more enjoyable. If you are going to have to be someplace for 10 hours, I highly recommend doing it with a friend. Being able to talk and browse other vendors together made the day go by much faster than it would have otherwise.
After not going grocery shopping for over 3 weeks, it finally happened today! I’m so glad to be restocked and have plenty of vegetables in the house again. I didn’t have supplies for me to have salad for my lunches last week and I missed it. Looking forward to enjoying them again this week.

I’m glad you had a fun day at the festival. I know you put a lot of work into getting ready for it. Have a great week.!
Thanks! It was fun and a lot of work but at least the next one we’ll already be prepared for so it won’t be near as time consuming!
You are amazing! All the hard work for the festival, a family trip and a blog – how did you find time to feed people? I’m so glad you accomplished all you wanted and it looks like it was a a great success. I hope you get to relax a bit and wonderful post today too! Carrie, A Mother’s Shadow
You are too kind, Carrie! I let a lot of things go the last few months and weeks – including most blogging and very limited cooking (leftovers where were it was at). Now I need to find my groove again and get back into a routine of blogging, housework, and cooking and decide what to do next when it comes to the crafting thing. Hope you are having an amazing week!
Now you can take a deep breath! Hope you did great at the Herb Festival.
While you are in a cleaning spurt, want to come and clean my house?!!
Exactly! Now to get into a new normal and get back into the groove of doing all the things I cut back on. The Herb Festival was a lot of fun. We sold some product and next I want to try a strictly craft show, especially in the fall when people are looking at Christmas shopping. From our sales and observing the booths around us, people were mainly buying the herbs and plants and then window shopping the others with a few buyers. He he, maybe we could clean together. I could use some extra motivation.
